STEP EIGHT
Now after you have repeated step six on every point as showed in step seven, it should look something like the image below.

STEP NINE
Hit B on your keyboard. This should bring up the brush tool. If all else fails and you're confused, just click this option on the side bar.

Now, click on the brush option on the top bar and pick a Hard Round 3 Pixel Brush.

Also, make sure your brush colour is set on white.

STEP TEN
Next step is to go into WINDOWS on the top bar, alongside the options File, Edit, Image etc.

Windows > Brushes

Make sure you are clicked into "b" or the brush tool before you take this step otherwise it will not let you edit the settings.

Change your settings to reflect the ones below.

* click to enlargen image

STEP ELEVEN
Now that you have set the brush settings, hit "P" on your keyboard or find the pentool using this image reference:

STEP TWELVE
Now that you have selected the pentool, right hand click anywhere on the image. Stroke path will be an option and click ok.

STEP THIRTEEN
Now, hit "B" on your keyboard or go back to the brush tool. Then go into Windows>Brushes and reflect the below settings:

STEP FOURTEEN
Now you need to go back to the pentool by hitting "P" on your keyboard or finding it on the sidebar.

You need to stroke the path again (whilst being in the pentool mode). So right hand click like we did the first time, go to the stroke path option and hit OK.

Your image should now look something like this:

STEP FIFTEEN
Now you need to make sure your 'layer' box is visible. It will be titled 'Layers'. If you can't see it anywhere go to Windows>Layers.

OK, so we have our layers box now. On the layer that contains all the lines, NOT the background.

Right hand click on the image, go to BLENDING PROPERTIES and copy the below settings:

Hit the OK button.

STEP SIXTEEN
Click "V" on the keyboard or the 'move tool' if you know where it is. If you don't, look below:

Now hit delete. That should take away the swigly line and leave what you have created behind!

Now, please please play around with this! It's different for everyone and every graphic piece. Also, where we use the brush and make it "3" pixels, feel free to increase it to 5... but anything over a 5 pixel gets messy when we add the scatter at the end.
